David, to the left, was, like myself, an alchoholic before he left his teens. We were "drinking buddies" and while I left my habit after my salvation experience, David never abandoned his consumption of alcohol. It's grip on him was a life-long event which caused him much personal pain and loss, with much grief to himself and those around him. My friend passed on into eternity a few years ago.
